Text collections
Since its launch in November 2002, Sarma has been collecting and redistributing texts, reviews, interviews, small essays, interviews, documentation and ephemera by an international handpicked core team of professional newspaper critics and writers, mainly affiliated with the field of performing arts. Sarma provides a context in which this generic diversity as well as the polyphony of opinions and aesthetics can co-exist. For the reader this is a chance to read in conjunction texts otherwise scattered over a myriad of publications, some of which are hard to find. As a result, Sarma operates as an archive for historical texts as well as a forum for present-day criticism.
The text-database can be browsed either by the thematic suggestions below, or by using the search-box on the left. A help-page can be consulted for using filters.
