Contextual note
This booklet consists only of short quotations by Dietmar Kamper, Stefan Hertmans, Manuel Brug, Rudi Laermans, Wilfrid Mellers, Emil Hrvatin.
The banishing of time means that in Jan Fabre's fictional heaven, physical suffering or death become totally unimaginable. Dancers, singers and actors stand outside Time and move in a space imbued with eternity, which permits neither fatigue nor physical decay, neither ageing or death. The stage perpetually changes them into living monuments, it freezes their bodies, movements and voices.
