Associated critics
Since its launch in November 2002, Sarma has been collecting and redistributing the texts of an international handpicked core team of professional newspaper critics. Their writing encompasses reviews, small essays, interviews. Sarma provides a context in which this generic diversity as well as the polyphony of opinions and aesthetics can co-exist. For the reader this is a chance to read in conjunction texts otherwise scattered over a myriad of publications, some of which are hard to find. As a result, Sarma operates as an archive for historical texts as well as a forum for actual criticism.
Sarma's associated critics are presented by way of a curriculum vitae and a 'poetics', a text that highlights their view on criticism and art, and the specific context and practice of their writings.
